I had my first class of the Recording Fundamentals course last night and realized that, while the theory is interesting, it really is difficult to wrap my head around things without experiencing things. Sure, it was only the first class but I really should have some of the tools to start feeling more comfortable with my knowledge. As we all know, that's a very expensive proposition. Too bad one couldn't just wish for that iMac and it would appear...

Anyway, the instructor gave us his business card and he works for a company called thenumber. Briefly scanning the website, it looks like a very interesting business. Hmmm. This is dangerous... Why? Some of my ideas have popped back into the front of my head.

It looks like it won't be that productive a day after all!
